Bridge to Terabithia
Author: Katherine Paterson
Release date: originally, 1977
Published by: HarperCollins
Award: Newbery Medal
Review: I like the story because, it has a story about how this boy named Jess wants to be the fastest kid in the whole school, but this new kid named Leslie end up being the fastest kid. Soon they become best friends and not far into the woods they built a castle stronghold and they called it Terabithia.
Jess has a little sister called Maybell. She cherishes him and loves anything he does. She follows them to Terabithia and Jess gets very angry at her so he makes her swear on the Bible to never follow again.
I read this for book club, it's very good and we haven't met yet. I can't wait to meet next Wednesday. I really hope you like it too.
You would like this if you like stories about friendship.
