Release Date: November 26, 2013

The girl with straight A''s, designer clothes and the perfect life-that's who people expect Rachel Young to be. So the private-school junior keeps secrets from her wealthy parents and overbearing brothers...and she's just added two more to the list. One involves racing strangers down dark country roads in her Mustang GT. The other? Seventeen-year-old Isaiah Walker-a guy she has no business even talking to. But when the foster kid with the tattoos and intense gray eyes comes to her rescue, she can't get him out of her mind.
Isaiah has secrets, too. About where he lives, and how he really feels about Rachel. The last thing he needs is to get tangled up with a rich girl who wants to slum it on the south side for kicks-no matter how angelic she might look.
But when their shared love of street racing puts both their lives in jeopardy, they have six weeks to come up with a way out. Six weeks to discover how far they'll go to save each other. (Summary from Goodreads)

Panic began as many things do in Carp, a dead-end town of 12,000 people in the middle of nowhere: because it was summer, and there was nothing else to do.
Heather never thought she would compete in Panic, a legendary game played by graduating seniors, where the stakes are high and the payoff is even higher. She'd never thought pf herself as fearless, the kind of person who would fight to stand out. But when she finds something, and someone, to fight for, she will discover that she is braver than she ever thought.
Dodge has never been afraid of Panic. His secret will fuel him, and get him all the way through the game, he's sure of it. But what he doesn't know is that he's not the only one with a secret. Everyone has something to play for.
For Heather and Dodge, the game will bring new alliances, unexpected revelations, and the possibility of first love for each of them--and the knowledge that sometimes the very things we fear are those we need the most. (Summary from Goodreads)

I'm SOOO excited for another Lauren Oliver book! She is always on my "buy it immediately" list of authors. I adore her writing. (I even have some of her written words inked on my skin forever. Shh!) AND THIS SOUNDS AMAZING! Has anyone read it yet?
What are you waiting on this week?
I just finished Crash Into You and I'm such a fan! It's actually my favorite of the series. I hope you'll enjoy it too!

I recently read Crash into You and LOVED it. I was so happy to see Isaiah get his story told.

I haven't read it yet but I do have the eARC! I've only read Oliver's Delirium, but I've heard great things about Panic already, so I had to cave and grab it, lol. I'm suuuuuper excited to read it, but I'm waiting until much closer to release day. It sounds intense and unique and just intriguing!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my WoW :)
I STILL haven't read anything of Lauren Oliver's, but that's about to change. I have an ARC of Panic, can't wait to check it out. I'm also about to read my first Katie McGarry book. Good picks!
