Seventeen-year-old Cassie is a natural at reading people. Piecing together the tiniest details, she can tell you who you are and what you want. But it's not a skill that she's ever taken seriously. That is, until the FBI come knocking: they've begun a classified program that uses exceptional teenagers to crack infamous cold cases, and they need Cassie.
What Cassie doesn't realize is that there's more at risk than a few unsolved homicides--especially when she's sent to live with a group of teens whose gifts are as unusual as her own.
Sarcastic, privileged Michael has a knack for reading emotions, which he uses to get inside Cassie's head--and under her skin. Brooding Dean shares Cassie's gift for profiling, but keeps her at arm's length.
Soon, it becomes clear that no one in the Naturals program is what they seem. And when a new killer strikes, danger looms closer than Cassie could ever have imagined. Caught in a lethal game of 'Cat and Mouse' with a killer, the Naturals are going to have to use all of their gifts just to survive. (Summary from Goodreads)
A girl with natural profiling powers and a mysterious agency...I'm sure there will be a question of good guys versus bad guys in this story. Sounds like a solid action, romance, mystery to me :)

Dear Mr. Harris,
Ignore the blob of red in the top left corner. It's jam, not blood, though I don't think I need to tell you the difference. It wasn't your wife's jam the police found on your shoe...
Zoe has an unconventional pen pal - Mr.Stuart Harris, a Texas Death Row inmate and convicted murderer. But then again, Zoe has an unconventional story to tell. A story about how she fell for two boys, betrayed one of them, and killed the other.
Hidden away in her backyard shed in the middle of the night with jam sandwich in one hand and a pen in the other, Zoe gives a voice to her heart and her fears after months of silence. Mr.Harris may never respond to Zoe's letters, but at least somebody will know her story-somebody who knows what it's like to kill a person you love. Only through her unusual confession can Zoe hope top atone for her mistakes that have torn lives apart, and work to put her own life back together again. (Summary from Goodreads)

Zoe seems like she's going to be a unique lead character. I can't wait to read her story--and find out how her death-row pen-pal helps her move on in life.

Alyssa Gardner has been down the rabbit hole and faced the bandersnatch. She saved the life of Jeb, the guy she loves, and escaped the machinations of the disturbingly seductive Morpheus and the vindictive Queen Red. Now all she has to do is graduate high school and make it through prom so she can attend the prestigious art school in London she's always dreamed of.
That would be easier without her mother, freshly released from an asylum, acting overly protective and suspicious. And it would be much simpler if the mysterious Morpheus didn't shoe up for school one day to tempt her with another dangerous quest in the dark, challenging Wonderland--when she (partly) belongs.
As prom and graduation creep closer, Alyssa juggles Morpheus's unsettling presence in her real world with trying to tell Jeb the truth about a past he's forgotten. Glimpses of Wonderland start to bleed through her art and into her world in very disturbing ways, and Morpheus warns that Queen Red won't be far behind.
If Alyssa stays in the human realm, she could endanger Jeb, her parents, and everyone she loves. But if she steps through the rabbit hole again, she'll face a deadly battle that could cost more than just her head. (Summary from Goodreads)

Book 1, Splintered, was my all time FAVORITE BOOK OF 2013! I loved it SO MUCH! I guess I never really thought about it before, but out of all the stories of the fantasy and the fairytale world...Alice's story is one of my favorites! Love it! Including the new show on ABC! Have you been watching it? Holy crap do I love it! It's even better then the other Once Upon a Time show! WOW! LOVING IT SO MUCH! (P.S. I got a new tattoo with both "Once upon a time..." and "We're all mad here." in it this summer. I'll have to show you all a picture sometime. :)
What are you waiting on this week?
I want The Naturals and Ketchup Clouds!!!! I hadn't heard of Unhinged but I hope you enjoy them all :)
