Percy Jackson is just trying to get through the 6th grade without getting into any more fights and by hopefully not getting expelled for the 6th time when a field trip to a museum rips him into the "real world" of Greek Gods & Goddesses! Who knew they were real? Well, his bff Grover for one who happens to be a Satyr AND his teacher who's the actual Chiron, the trainer of demi-gods! Whoa!

Zues's master thunderbolt has gone missing and Percy has become the scapegoat for the theft! How is he going to prove he didn't steal it? Finding it and taking it back to Zues becomes the plan...will he be able to find it in time? Will the Gods destroy him before he can? How many monsters can he possibly deal with?

Loved this! SO much potential and SOOO much adventure! I love it when there's adventure NONE STOP! I'm on the next one...shhh!

Now a movie (missing serious parts from the book as movies taken from books always do) which has lots of fun action as well...
