Ever is just trying to survive a new school and a new life after the accident that killed her mother, father, sister and dog. Oh, and ever since the accident she can not only hear everything everyone thinks, but she can also see their auras. Her way of dealing with it is to listen to her iPod loudly while pulling her hood up over her head. But then Damen walks into her English class. Not only does he seem to know everything about her and can make things appear, but when he's talking to her she only hears his voice and nothing more. Why? and why does he seem so familiar? Who is he? Where did he come from?

I loved this. I bit different from the norm of what's out there right now. It's also enough to appease those who like Twilight and the other fantasy series that are so popular right now. I will definately be buying this series and reading this series! :)
