** spoiler alert ** The Crown Princess Anidori-Kiladra Talianna Isilee has led a life of solitude in preparation of taking over her mother's position as Queen of Kildenree. When Ani finds herself passed over as not measuring up to the Queen's expectations for the next ruler of Kildenree, she finds herself lost. Where does leave Ani? What does she do next? When she is told she has instead been betrothed to the Crown Prince of Bayern, the very nation who is conquering all the lands around it. Once Bayern completes the mountain pass road, will they then put their eyes on Kildenree? Will Ani's ability to talk to animals help in the new land she travels to, or hurt her? This retelling of Grimm's The Swan Princess is incredibly written! I can't wait to read the rest!
