Paris, at the dawn of the modern age:
Prince Sebastian is looking for a bride--or rather, his parents are looking for one for him. Sebastian is too busy hiding is secret life from everyone. At night he puts on daring dresses and takes Paris by storm as the fabulous Lady Crystallia--the hottest fashion icon in the world capital of fashion!
Sebastian's secret weapon (and best friend) is the brilliant dressmaker Frances--one of only two people who know the truth: sometimes this boy wears dresses. But Frances dreams of greatness, and being someone's secret weapon means being a secret. Forever. How long can Frances defer her dreams to protect a friend? (Summary from Goodreads.com)
Reaghan's thoughts: This books is about how a Prince likes to wear dresses but doesn't want to tell anyone except his dressmaker.
My favorite part of the book was the first time he went out in public being known as Lady Crystallia.
My least favorite part of the book was when Frances quit because Sebastian broke his promise.
I think this book is a great way to show how guys can be girls because the Prince, or Sebastian, goes out in a wig and beautiful dresses.
I think that this book's life lesson is that it is ok that people are different and that boys like being girls or girls could be boys.

Ange's thoughts: This is one of the most charming stories I have read in a long time. This story of a Prince who feels he has to hide his love of dressing up in high fashion as a women is incredibly endearing.
The illustrations are perfect for this fairy tale of a story that's told in a clever and compassionate way. You fall in love with Sebastian and Frances just as they are. The end had me in tears of happiness.
If you haven't tried this one you need to. If you have read it, what did you think of it?
