The Roar
Author: Emma Clayton
From: Published
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Ellie- has been torn from her home in the middle of the night and taken to a facility to be trained as a weapon and experimented on. All she wants is to go home.
Mika- is desperate to find his sister who he knows is still alive even though they tell him she is dead and he should move on. His hope keeps him going.
Kobi- loves to create animal borgs out of any and all bits of hardware he finds here and there. He just wants to to understand it all.
Audrey- has a love for life that no other equals! She lives, she loves and she just keeps moving forward! She was born without eyes, but can now do more than any other with her borg eyes.
Mal Gorman- he just wants to control it all- live forever, take everything and anything he wants, make it theirs!
What none of them realized is that once they started the children on this path the consequences set in motion would be beyond their control...
This was very interesting. A dystopia that could really be a future for us, but with an ending that truly lacks any resolution unfortunately. What I hope is that there will be another book to care of the lack of resolution. We will just have to wait and see.! *crosses fingers*
