Libby Bits Review: Adorkable

Jeane Smith is a quirky blogger with her own style. She hates people who “conform” to what is seen as “normal” by society. She has a unique style and a unique hair color, and her blog invites all dorks to unite and be okay being who they are supposed to be.

Michael Lee represents everything Jeane fights against: he is popular and wears “boring” clothes and does everything that is expected of him. But a cosmic event brings them together when Jeane’s boyfriend falls for Michael’s girlfriend and Jeane and Michael unite to figure out just how that happened.

I enjoyed Jeane and Michael’s story. Jeane is a little snarky--it took me a few chapters to be okay with her because she is a bit mean. However, if you read this book you’ll understand why she is so snarky and begin to understand what is behind her aggression and anger. Michael is a fun counter to her and helps balance out the story. And when these complete opposites start kissing...well you’ll have to read to see what happens! I will add a little warning that there is some mature content in the story, but I have to say that Manning represented teens and sex in a responsible and respectful way.
