Max is trying the best she knows how to keep her family together and hidden from the world. Since the only father they've ever known, Jeb, disappeared she's been in charge. When they go for a morning stroll to pick strawberries with Angel, the littlest of them all, the worst happens...Erasers! The mutant Erasers have kidnapped her! Now Max, Iggy, Fang and Gasman take off in search of little Angel in the only place they'd like to never go back to again; the evil school & experimental facility they grew up in while being experimented on. Will they find Angel? Will they be able to elude the Erasers themselves? Will they be discovered for the freaks they were created as?
This was an interesting concept! It makes me want to read the regular books in the Maximum Ride series! On to the next one!
